Every year in the US, over 440,000 people are killed or injured by distracted drivers, leaving their loved ones behind to pick up the pieces. Miami-Dade Expressway, an agency whose mission is to care for and improve our roads, believes it is also their duty to help drivers get home safely.
In conjunction with Ronin Advertising, mediaBOOM developed The Last Word microsite, which is a site specifically meant to raise awareness of the dangers of texting and driving. The Last Word encourages people to “take the pledge” to stop and think the next time they're behind the wheel and are about to reach for their phone.
